Snowflake Hack

Step 1: Thaw 2 puff pastries according to package instructions. Roll each puff pastry into a 9in square and lay on top of parchment paper on you work surface. Spread your preferred sweet filling, such as jam, chocolate or cream cheese over the entire sheet in a thin layer.

Step 2:  Lay the second rolled out puff pastry over top of the pastry sheet with the filling spread on top.

Step 3: Using a sharp knife, cut the puff pastry into quarters leaving a 2x2 inch square in the center.

Step 4: Continue to cut strips approximately 1.5 inches apart. Make sure to have an even amount of strips when finished.

Step 5: Grabbing the end of a strip, slowly twist the strip from top to bottom

Step 6: Grab the ends of two strips and firmly press them together. Repeat this step with the remaining strips to complete the snowflake. Transfer pastry to a lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F  for 25-30 minutes until pastry puffed and golden.
