APPLE TARTELETTES w/ TOFFEE CREAM and BALSAMIC SYRUP

ingredients
- 1 Package TENDERFLAKE Mini Tart Shells
- Balsamic Glaze:
- ½ Cup (120 mL) Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/3 Cup (45 g) Sugar
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 2 Tablespoons (30 mL) Water
- Apple Tarts:
- 1 Cup (250 g) Golden Brown Sugar ½ Cup (125 g) Unsalted Butter 2 Large Eggs - Beaten
- 4-5 Golden Delicious Apples – Cored, Peeled and Roughly Chopped
- 1 32 oz (946 mL) container of store bought Caramel Toffee Crunch Ice Cream
directions
- Prepare glaze in a small pan by boiling the Balsamic Vinegar, Sugar, Cinnamon Sticks and water over Medium High heat. Once it comes to a boil reduce until syrupy and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Butter and Sugar until creamy, then, beat in Egg and fold in Apples Stir and spoon evenly into TENDERFLAKE Mini Tart Shells
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) until golden brown for about 20-30 minutes
- Allow to cool to room temperature
- Drizzle each with Balsamic Glaze
- Serve with Caramel Toffee Crunch Ice Cream
