Heirloom Tomato Galette

ingredients

  • 1 Package TENDERFLAKE Puff Pastry, defrosted overnight in refrigerator
  • 1 Tablespoon (15 mL) Fresh Oregano
  • ¾ Cup (177 mL) Goat Cheese - Crumbled 6 Heirloom Tomatoes - Thinly Sliced
  • 6 Thyme Stems
  • 1 12-OZ (375 mL) Jar of Sundried Tomatoes
  • 1 Fresh Chile Pepper
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic - Minced
  • 1 Teaspoon (5 mL)Sugar
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

directions

  1. PREHEAT oven to 400°F (205°C)
  2. Line Baking Sheet w/ Parchment Paper and roll out TENDERFLAKE Puff Pastry
  3. Process the Sundried Tomatoes, Red Chile Peppers, Sugar, Salt and Pepper together in a Food Processor until a paste forms
  4. Add in Oil from Jar of Sundried Tomatoes, if needed
  5. Spread paste over the TENDERFLAKE Puff Pastry, leaving a 2 inch (5 cm) Border around the edge
  6. Sprinkle the Oregano and Crumble the Goat Cheese over top
  7. Arrange Sliced Tomatoes over top and Sprinkle with Thyme Stalks
  8. Bake in Hot Oven until Pastry is Golden and Cooked Through and Browned on Bottom
