Pastry Wrap Hack

Step 1: Thaw Puff Pastry according to package instructions. Lay one pastry sheet onto a work surface and cut the sheet into ribbons about 1 inch thick. Wrap the pastry around an oven-safe utensil along the handle.

Step 2:  Continue to wrap cut pastry strips along cutlery handle until all strips have been used. Transfer pastry wrapped cutlery to a lined baking tray. Bake at 350°F for 18-25 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden. Remove the baking tray from the oven and allow cutlery to cool before handling. Gently remove pastry twists from cutlery.

*Usage Suggestions

  • Dust pastry with cinnamon sugar before baking for a sweet treat, or
  • Once baked, drizzle with melted chocolate and dust with icing sugar, or
  • Brush pastry with garlic herbed butter before baking and sprinkle with parmesan cheese for a savory treat.
